This project was introduced by the Studio 1 course, where the program and site are determined to be public restrooms in Jackson Park. The objective of this design is to specify the location of the restrooms based on the circulation around it. This entails the concentration of visitors and their access to the restrooms in this relatively big park.
The three spots that seem to attract the park visitors the most are the Wooded Island, Statue of the Republic, and the Pickens Field. Centering the restrooms around these highly concentrated destinations ensured visibility of and access to the restrooms. The walkways act as guidance to the restrooms.
